Is this course right for me?

Initially, we created the Business of Farming Course for individual farmers, however, we really encourage family members to do the program together where possible. We believe that a critical element of success is having all members of the business working towards a common goal. There’s nothing like having everyone on the same page.

How is the course run?

The Business of Farming course runs over 4 weeks, with 20 online video modules and supporting worksheets, beginning on the 22nd August 2022. In terms of group interaction, we come together for three webinars on the 26th August, 2nd September, 9th September and a final 2-3 hour webinar on the 16th September 2022.

Participant Testimonials

We did the Planfarm Academy, Business of Farming course because we felt that we didn’t fully understand our business. While meeting with our consultant we would look at the data and nod our heads, but deep down we knew that we didn’t fully understand our numbers and metrics that were used to measure our business. We now feel we have a good grip of the data and can go back to the video content any time we need a refresher.

– Jen and Tim Critch

We set a vision for our business 15 years ago and that time has gone by in the blink of an eye, and now with the boys at home it is time to set a new vision. It is the roadmap to the destination of our choice, worked out between all members of the business.

– Kim and Michelle Slarke

Would highly recommend this course. The flipped classroom model gives you the flexibility to learn at your own pace while still working.
